Me-Shell's by the Seashore Quilting Retreat Center has been designed with the comfort and need for a group of quilters to be able to connect, learn, and enjoy the art of quilting. Our 2500 square foot retreat center provides ample space for you and up to 7 of your friends to enjoy time together. Here are just a few of the great features we have to offer:
The sewing area is in a 15 x 27 foot room with a view of the harbor. This area includes full spectrum lighting, four 8 foot tables, 8 adjustable height office sewing chairs, flannel design wall, large floor to ceiling windows and wood floor.
Directly adjacent to the sewing area are three cutting tables, a 24" x 55" ironing station , 2 regular sized ironing boards, and irons featuring Oslio Auto Lift irons.
Sleep tight in one of our 3 spacious bedrooms. Each of 8 twin beds features its own unique quilt. Choose your favorite to sleep under during your stay.
Enjoy our large kitchen with a dining room table for 8 plus all the cooking & eating utensils to make a special meal for everyone.
When you need a break from sewing, enjoy our comfortable sitting area. Watch your favorite movie on our TV/DVD player (unfortunately, there is no cable service - so be sure to bring your favorite movie to share with your friends) or just sit back and enjoy a good book.
